Ages 7-10 | Level 4 AB, C

Level 4AB Current Classes:

Fairytale Ballet Camp 3AB/ 4AB- Tuesday 6:15-7:15

·       Fairytale Ballet Camp Description: Our young dancers will have an opportunity to learn about some of the most famous, and beloved Ballet Stories! Each week we will focus on a new Ballet where they will have an opportunity to learn dances from each Ballet, and create a unique craft to help them remember the story! Watch your child light up as they are able to dance the role of Princess Aurora, or Prince Siegfried! Our goal is to cultivate a life long love of Ballet & Ballet Education!

Acrobatics Beginner/Intermediate- Tuesday 7:15-7:45

·       This class develops flexibility, strength, and coordination. This class focuses on floor exercise and tumbling. Combination of technique and choreography. It is preferred that Acro dancers are enrolled in a Technique Intensive or Ballet Camp.

 

Level 4C (Company) Current Classes:

Technique Intensive 2C/3C- Tuesday 5:30-7:15

·       Technique Intensive 2C/3C will focus on improving technique, strength, flexibility, reaching new goals, and attaining a higher skill level in their dance technique through Skills & Conditioning, PBT, and Ballet Technique! This class will build upon the skills learned in Level AB (Foundational) classes. All Level 2C/3C (Ages 4-8) members are required to take this class. 

            *Any other Levels must seek RCD Staff approval to attend this class.

Open Tap 4C, 5ABC, Adult – Wednesday 8:00-8:30

·       The rhythm and movement of tap, created by the metal taps on the heels and toes of a dancer’s shoes, transforms the dancer into a percussive musician. Tap dance emphasizes the flow of movement by teaching the dancer to find rhythms and beats in music as well as their own bodies. *Dancers under age 11 need RCD Staff Approval to enroll.

Open PBT 4C, 5ABC, Adult- Thursday 7:45-8:15

·       This class is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.
