Our Philosophy

Rochester Conservatory of Dance fosters a tolerant and accepting artistic forum for students to express themselves through the art of dance. RCD offers small class sizes to provide the individual attention every student deserves.

RCD believes that the training received inside the studio, extends far beyond the walls of the classroom. The education provided at RCD encourages discipline, responsibility, teamwork, confidence, and an over all healthy lifestyle. We believe that anyone can dance.  All levels and abilities are welcome. We believe in meeting the students where they are to help them grow on a personal level, while helping them work together as a team to accomplish group goals. Most of all, we believe that dance is about having fun!
